Connecting Rods Most Important Part?

Building a 500hp small block, it seems that a cast steel crank and a decent piston is the norm. I'm leery about using "500hp" rods though. Not only are they near threshold, but mathematically the rods see the most stress among the internal parts.

That being said, I'm thinking that a H beam connecting rod rated at "700hp" would be the best choice for a strong, worry-free bottom.

Input please.

I am using Eagle's H-beam rods in my application, and I know several others that are doing the same thing. They have had no issues or complaints with them.
