um yes a 350 is a 4 in bore the same as a 327 bore same block differant crank a 327 uses the same crank as a 307 a 350 uses the same crank as a 305 and so on

Small block chevy heritage, in order of appearance: Gen1
265 3.750 x 3.00
283 3.875 x 3.00
327 4.000 x 3.25
302 4.000 x 3.00
350 4.000 x 3.48
307 3.875 x 3.25
400 4.125 x 3.75
305 3.740 x 3.48
262 3.671 x 3.10
267 3.500 x 3.48

Most 283 blocks could be bored to 4.00", the 302 was the first hotroded 4" small block.

I think hence why LT1s say 327 where it should say 350 on the side LOL

New guy here, many cranks are interchangeable for SBC. Chevy did not use the same cranks for differnent engines too often, because of balancing issues. Not that it could not be done, and can be very easily. But for production reasons and production runs. The newer 305s and 350s shared the same crank, put them side buy side and you can't tell the difference until you look at the balance holes.
