best headers for a big block 396?

best headers for a big block 396?

I know this sounds like a newbie question, but what would the best headers be for a far from stock 396 from a 69. My friend's gonna rebuild is engine and wants to know what headers to get. He was planning on gettin the Hooker Super comps from summit. Is this a good choice?

I have a 396 and put the ceramic coated Hedman headers on it.....no complaints....

Yes it is, exactly what I have and had them jet coated. 2 1/8 primary 3 1/2 out, fit like a glove.
