Hard to say what heads you need unless you know what pistons you have. I know that 72cc usually yield SOMEWHERE around 9-9.5:1 on a 350 SBC, but those are with flat-tops or 5cc valve reliefs. ...
If your car truly has 8:1 compression, you probably have dished pistons somewhere in the 20cc range and would need to be somewhere in the 50cc range to have anything that resembles power.
Plus, those heads you listed are garbage 165cc intake-runner iron heads. Next.

And your right they are the lousy dished pistons with valve releif and chamfered edge. Probably the worst piston GM ever put out. I think the old domed pistons prior to 1974 were even of better quality.
I was thinking about going with the "D" shaped pistons, they are supposed to work good on low compression motors.
It seems alot of perf LT1 or L82 has flat-tops, so they shouldn't be too hard to find right?
