Thumbs up anyone here using a vac. reserve cannister?

i have no power brakes almost at low rpm.s. they are fine at cruising speeds/higher rpm.s, but when Im at the track and trying to brake torque the car, I have a firm pedal and not much assist. I was thinking I would get a vacuum pump from www.MPbrakes.com but not for $389!! Im just curious if they work for people or what. think it would work since I do have power at higher rpms and do make 12"s at idle. any thoughtsor comments would be appreciated. thanks chris

I bought a vacuum canister from summit and I had to relearn how to stop my car because I actually had a brake pedal. My 79 was just like what you are describing with no brake at lower rpms. The vacuum canister is a lot cheaper and worked/works great for me.
