Advice

Hello all...i am new to the forum and i have a 1979 Z28. Right now its gutted and i have the original 350 out of it when it was my grandmother drove it and i have a 302 from a 1969 Camero that was done up for drag racing. They are both rebuilt and sitting in oil bags in my garage. I have some ideas on what i want to do with it but i was curious what some experts thought about it. Also its automatic right now and i am wanting to convert it to manual...hit me up with some ideas

Re: Advice

Well the 302 is a nice nostalgic engine but its NO tq monster and will require a loose converter or 4-5 speed and ton of gear(4:10 or more. ) It will be a slug in a street car......this is just my opinion.

The 350 IMO will be the better choice. Longer stroke(more tq) will better suit a street driven car.

Nastyz28.com is a dedicated 2nd gen board..... check it out when you get a chance.

I think markinkc69z means Camaro, not Camero. Not a good idea to misspell it on a Camaro site! :-)
