when a person can buy a car with a rare option, it is factory...it could be ordered....

so then.....the 67z28 was not production...the jl8 was not production...the copos were not production....the 1LE was not production...

just becuase a limited number was made...does not make it a non production car...

did you ever know you could order a twin turbo vette from gm....option b2k got you a callaway twin turbo...and if it was on GM'S rpo sheet..it is production...

and factory 10 sec cars...the 69 zl1 was run in the 10s by a man named fred gibb.....the one that got those cars out and into his dealership...

which car's the amx's or the zl-1's. rpo's???????

he went to the local dealer in 1969 and bought the s/s amx which ran "10.70's",1971 he bought the ZL-1 camaro whish ran "10.80's".
so wouldn't that mean there production car's???
he walked in as joe smoe and bought him self a car.
then a few years later he bought another car. seem's production cars to me. but what do i now.

Both boughten at dealer's both running in the 10's high 10's but 10's are 10's.

fred's 10 second ZL1 was a pure drag car, not a stocker

and I don't think a 72 TA 455 would find it too easy even hitting mid13s

there is difference between production (off the line) and "tuner" cars like the slp firehawk or mecham TA for example

the hurst cars were modified by hurst so to me they aren't what I'd call production, they are special or "tuner"

the Z/28 came off the assembly line

but a sweet car is a sweet car regardless of who put the engine in (prod line or dealer or tuner) and if a legendary tuner or company did the mods then f'in cool!
