70 Th350/small block transmission crossmember?

We bought a tubbed/caged '70 Camaro less motor and trans..
It had a big block and TH400 trans in it. We're using a small block/TH350 combination. We set the engine and trans. in the car testerday, and the crossmember for the transmission is about 10-12" back too far. Yes, I know a TH400 is longer, and the mount is farther back on it.
We have a TH350 crossmember out of our old S/B '77 Camaro. Surprise Surprise...It's identical to the '70 BB/TH400 crossmember.
The holes for the crossmember in the '77 appear to be farther forward in the frame (?) The '70 only has one set of holes. Did they make a SB/TH350 crossmember for a '70? If so, will it bolt in the holes I already have it the frame.
We're using the original big block frame mounts and Moroso "solid" engine mounts. Are the small block/big block frame mounts offset differently?

Thanks,
Frank
