355 street/strip suggestions

Still researching for an agressive street/strip combo, heres what im thinking: (Got this off the afr site)

355
180 afrs (68cc)
air gap intake
comp xe 282 hr
750 dp
1 5/8 headers
KB flat hypers
Th-350 w/ transgo shift kit
TCI 3500 stall (freebie)
4.11
3500 lbs w/ driver

Was also thinking of going solid w/ comps 274 or even 195 afrs. My bottom end has only 1500 miles on it but is for the most part stock. Any suggestions welcome, thanks.

Re: 355 street/strip suggestions

4.11's and no overdrive would make me lean towards STRIP oriented a little more and I don't see why AFR 210's and a Vic Jr isn't doable. What compression did you come up with? Aim for 11:1 to be plenty safe on pump gas and an XR294HR would be streetable. Something like that would walk all over 180's and an air gap. However, that comp cam combo would be quieter, smoother, might burn less gas, etc. Goodluck!

Denny, the reason for not going with something that radical is im trying to keep the shifts 6K or below (nearly stock bottom end, street friendly) and those 210 afr s would be a dog on a 355 at any rpm below 4K or so. Thanks for the input though.
