2nd Gen Roll Call: British Columbia
Say, I've noticed a few guys here from the lower mainland. Who here is from BC?
I'm in Surrey. I have a 1977 Z/28 with a big-inch small block almost ready to put togther for the Mission street legal drags and for some fun summertime street action.
Also have a 1989 GTA L98 350 for the daily driver.

I have an '81 Camaro that has been completely re-done from the ground up. The list of mods is pretty long and I'd probably forget half the stuff I've done. I have a whole other list of things 'to-do'.
I'm currently in Coquitlam.

Hey guys - cool cars.
Erik - nice Z you have there. I noticed you too have had issues with Mopac. their best guy imo was Troy, and once he moved to the back office I stopped buying stuff from them.
In fact I haven't bought anything there since Best Buy Performance in Surrey opened up just over 1 1/2 years ago. *Great* people there. I bought all my stuff there for my Z/28 project and have more yet to purchase. Cheapest prices around and Brian (the owner) is *super* to deal with. They also have a store on Kingsway, and recently opened a store in Edmonton, with one in Calgary on the way soon.
It is fantastic that we now have a local performance shop that cares about its customers and doesn't treat you like a walking wallet the way Mopac does.
Can't wait for Mission to open up. The street legals should be a real blast.
Charles, are you planning to make it to the track sometime to see what your camaro will run? Seems to work pretty good to me.

Oh yeah I'm gonna have to "drag" my car out to Mission at least once this summer. I need to put in my hurst shifter, tach and body mount bushings. Basically that's the work for this year. Oh yeah fan shroud too. Be nice to try a gathering of the 2nd gens this summer! I totally agree about not buying from Mopac based on the poor customer service and the "sure it fits" attitude.
I live downtown. Road race/autocross my car.
