Nice car!!

My dad almost bought one brand new, they only had 2 engines...a 403 Olds with an awfulmatic or a 6.6 liter and a 4 speed. The 6.6 cars ran very good he said,as for the 403...well,its just an Olds .

Both Engines are 6.6's
220 HP 400 4spd w/3.23 axle
185 HP 403 A3 w/2.41 or 2.73 axles
The 400 4spd cars are quite respectable usually around 14.7-15.3 in the 1/4
The OLds 403 Automatic's are slower but will really wake up with a good tune and some steeper gears.
Out of the 7500 10th anni T/A's
About 1100 of them were 400 4spds.

Side Note
I owned one of these (`79 T/A) for 7 yrs and beat the **** out of it.
It took everything I gave it and wanted more. Great Cars and alot of fun to drive.
