What motor is this?

Just picked up a small block in a '62 Nova. Not the original. Numbers are VT 207MS, 3814678, and 18W258495. Anyone know what this motor is? Thanks

Its VI 207MS, not VT and 3914678, not 3814678. The other number is correct 18W258495. Correct numbers are VT 207MS, 18W258495, and 3914678. Does this make a difference. Sorry for the confusion. I hate this fuzzy stuff in my later 40's. Thanks for the help.

The 18W258495 is the last part of the vin number from the original car the engine came from the factory in.

V = Flint engine plant
1207 = December 7
MS = 1967 350. Had a manual tranny behind it. Rated a 295 HP. 4 barrel carb. Came in F and X body cars.

3914678 = 1968 4" bore block
302 2/4 Camaro, Z-28
327 2 car & truck
350 2 Camaro/ChevyII <- came in one of these based on the MS suffix code

8W on the VIN means it wasn't a Camaro. (Sorry I don't have my VIN book in front of me to tell you what it is out of.)

Engine is a 350 cubic inch 295 horse engine out of a 1968 Nova SS. The car was originally assembled at Willow Run and had a manual transmission.
