I have not owned this car long, but since having it, just in the last month I have put a rebuilt carb on it, all front end parts, minus the upper and lower ball joints. The parts are in the car, just haven't had the time to install. Once this done it will need a front-end alignment. New brake shoes and wheel cylinders installed on the rear. Brand new dual exhaust and dual mufflers. Tires are almost new condition as well. New Battery put in two days ago also
Things that need to be done:
Trunk needs to be wired brushed and couple pinholes filled, still solid.
Right Rear Quarter - lower section behind the tire needs about 9 inch patch.
Right Front Fender - lower section behind the tire needs about 12 inch patch
Right Front Floor Pan - couple small pin holes but still solid floor pan.
Needs interior work, and rebuild the steering column.
Around the front and rear glass will need body work as well.
Sounds like a lot, maybe for a beginner, but actually this car is in good shape.
Runs good, shifts smooth and does not smoke. I believe this is the original motor and trans in this vehicle.
I have pretty much priced out everything in catalogs and minus of course the paint job the stuff above comes out
to approximately $900.00.
I paid 1,100.00 for the car, since that time I have put close to that in new parts. Forgot to mention, I also just received like new hub caps for this vehicle for that year model.
