FS: 1997 Pontiac Trans Am
FS: 1997 Pontiac Trans Am
So, the time has really come for me to sell my baby. I need money to continue my expensive college education, and I need it badly. I hate to do this, but it is the fastest way for me to get money and be a little less frivolous (premium gas and insurance is hard on a 20 year old, haha.) HELP PUT ME THROUGH COLLEGE!
The Details:
1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
103,000 miles
Red
LT1 346ci V8 (285 HP, 325 TQ)
Automatic 4L60E Transmission
3.23 gears with limited slip and posi
Chrome 5-spokes
BFGoodrich Tires (75% F, 25% R left)
Fully loaded with all options except WS6
Charcoal leather
Traction Control
Power everything
T-Tops
Monsoon (A few speakers have been upgraded with Rockford and Infinity components)
Borla Catback adjustable with Corsa clone tips (pictures show stock exhaust still)
Shift kit (not sure about many of the details as it was installed professionally before I purchased the car)
New polyurethane transmission and torque arm mounts

It is rarely driven hard and never raced. Always filled with 93 octane gas, occasional SeaFoam added. Fully synthetic motor oils only (done 3 weeks ago). Fresh differential flush with full synthetic gear lube. Fresh coolant flush. Fresh power steering flush. New wipers and air filter. This car was daily driven since last July, and made frequent trips to Detroit for an internship I have with NO troubles whatsoever. Washed multiple times per week, waxed once a month, claybar every so often. Interior vacuumed and UV protected with every wash. No winters.
Known Issues:
-Sometimes needs a few extra cranks to fire. Starts right up with no trouble. No stumbling, rough idle or anything of the sort. Performs like brand new at all times.
-Nose needs paint. My stepmom backed into it. There is no physical damage whatsoever, just needs a repaint to make it good as new.
-Driver's side seat has a very minor case of the typical bolster ripping as most do.
-Needs new u-joints. I already have the u-joints, they just need installation. Anyone with a little knowledge can do them yourself, otherwise labor would be less than $50.
This car is definitely ready to continue making someone else happy. I just can't afford it anymore with everything I have on my plate. I am a 20 year old that pays for literally everything I have. I have always made this car first priority with my money and time, and I can't do it anymore.
We will start the bidding off at $6,500 or best offer. Try me. Car is located in Saginaw, MI.
I can be reached via email at randall814@gmail.com, by phone at 989-493-4564, on AIM at "lilranran 3" no quotes, or shoot me a PM. I prefer email because of the ease of use and response.
Thanks everyone!
