94 z28 - 5.3 swap nonrunning 1500
I have a 1994 camaro z28 t-top that I started a turbo 5.3L project on.
Body is in amazing shape, and interior looks like its from the showroom floor.
Specs of car:
Oriogionally LT1 car with a 4l60e, still has lt1 harness in place
Vertical Griffin Radiator
Factory LS1 k-member and motor mounts
Camaro Oil Pan
5.3L out of 2001 silverado with 68,000 miles on it.
Edelbrock Victor JR intake manifold
Edelbrock Fuel Rails
Sheet metal intake to TB elbow, fits factory 78-85mm throttle bodies, and clears stock hood.
Fuelab Fuel Pressure Regulator
Factory LS1 fuel injectors
LS1 coolant steam tube
Truck manifolds for starting a turbo kit.
Built TH400 with 3000 stall converter.
Pan is drilled/tapped and has a -10AN fitting in it. The fitting can be removed and a plug put in. The adapter above the oil filter is tapped for a 1/4" NPT fitting for your choice of a -3an or -4an feed line to a turbo.
What the car needs to get on the road:
Fuel line (about 150 dollars to get AN line adapter to run braided line from the factory hard line to the rails)
Transmission K-member (250 dollars, and would utiilze factory torque arm)
Wiring Harness (can be had for 100 from a junkyard)
Driveshaft (can be made at Truck Supply for 200 bucks, or could be measured and I am sure you could find one in a junkyard that would work)
I hate to see the car go, but I have no time to work on it anymore. Email me if you are interested. The transmission was build by Straightline Performance just outside of Wichita (in Clearwater, KS).
You won't find a better project. The transmission alone cost almost 2,000 to have built, and theres close to 1,000 into the intake manifold setup.

Wow, there's a blast from the past. Unfortunately, I recall reading that the OP had committed suicide at some point. He shared tune data with me @ one point. Cool guy from his online presence here. RIP brother
