1994 Trans Am For Sale
Up for sale is my wifes old Trans Am. The body has 142,000 miles, drivetrain has somewhere around 40,000 miles. The car is pretty stock with only a few bolt-ons. These include: K&N cold air kit, Hooker LT headers, Hooker y-pipe, Comp full roller rockers (1.5 ratio), Centerforce clutch, B&M shifter, and 4.10 gears in the stock diff. The paint is not the greatest but it is 13 years old so I would put it in the fair category but with the drivetrain in the good to excellent. Interior is in great shape considering the mileage and age of the car. There is 2 small cracks in the upper dash piece which seems to be pretty typical on the cars of this age. The paint on the front & rear bumpers is faded with the front bumper having a crack where a trailer hitch was backed into the car before she purchased the car. The clear coat on the passenger fender is also flaking off but I do have a new GM fender (unpainted) that will go with the car. The only other thing that I can think of at this time is that the air bag light comes on and goes off from time to time. I feel it is a loose wire in the steering column and I am just too lazy to mess with it. In the pics below the car has 2002 WS6 wheels which do not go on the car. It will have 16" Torque Trust II's with Firestone Firehawk tires that have around 20,000 miles on them and still look new. I can take more pics tomorrow of the car with these wheels. Also the catback that is pictured will not go on the car. A stock 00 TA catback will be on the car before it is sold. KBB on the it with a "good" rating is $4360 and a "fair" being $3760 so I think the asking price is very fair for a dependable daily driver. Asking price is $4000.00

Sent an e-mail I think to your correct address it was a hotmail.com address, so if that is not the right address, just let me know, but I had some questions on there about the car. Would like to get a pic of those other tires/rims to cjcworld@excite.com Thanks.

Bump and adding pics of the cracks in the dash and of the tread depth of the tires that are going on the car and a couple pics of the car with the wheels & tires. Also the $4000 will now include the Hooker catback and Corsa knock-off tips.

Apparently, I miss spoke about the drivetrain. The engine was replaced about 40K ago. Trans still shifts great and doesnt grind. I install the 4.10s about 20K ago and everything looked good. No receipts since this was done back in 00 or 01 (cant remember exact date). It was just a stock rebuilt crate shortblock and used stock heads.
