1994 mazda RX7 with LS1 for sale in NJ

$19k. i'm in NJ.

1994 Mazda RX7 with Cartek built LS1 (12k miles or 12 month warranty on engine!!!) and 6 speed t56 transmission. 103k miles on chassis. 600 miles on engine.

Whether you use this car on the street or the track, it will perform like a car costing much more, yet look like nothing else on the road. This generation of the RX7 is very rare and I'm always asked what type of car this is. The v8 rumble will confuse the few people that do recognize the gorgeous lines of this body. All work professionally done; KDR did the conversion & Cartek did the motor. As you can see from the parts listing below, only the best parts were used on this conversion in an effort to make it dependable on the road and track.
Receipts will be included with the sale.
  • Mild cam (224/228 duration, .560 lift, 114 LSA),
  • milled stock heads and valve job,
  • dual valve springs,
  • 30 lbs. fuel injectors,
  • adjustable fuel pressure regulator,
  • ARP bolts,
  • 3 quart Accusump & Setrab oil cooler,
  • LS6 intake manifold,
  • Hinson cold air intake with K&N air filter
  • Hinson headers and no catalytic converter
  • new corvette C6 z06 clutch,
  • Pro 5 short shifter with SLP leather shift ****,
  • 4.10 differential,
  • Hinson Supercars Aluminum Driveshaft
  • Hinson Supercars Subframe & Torque Arm Brace
  • Dokota Digital SGI-5 speedometer converter (needs slight adjustment)
  • Hinson custom aluminum radiator
  • full sized Optima Gel cell battery in the rear bin location (where the bins used to be),
  • Mazdaspeed adjustable coilovers,
  • SPA oil temp and oil pressure gauage,
  • Defi Fuel pressure & water temp gauges,
  • Widefoot racing gas pedal extender,
  • Custom power steering,
  • no AC,
  • Kirk Racing bolt-in rollbar, 4 points of attachment.
  • No rear bins, trunk or quarter panel interior plastic.
  • Racing beat front and rear sway bars.
  • Simpson Harnesses.
  • Kenwood CD stereo/Radio not working but included (probably something easy to fix)
  • Sunroof works
  • Black leather stock seats
  • No strut tower brace.

This car makes 350 hp at the wheels (approx 400 hp at the crank) but this still has stock heads, stock throttle-body and stock crank pulley. If you want more power, simply get ported heads and throttle body, and an under-drive crank pulley! The car weighs 2800 lbs and has a 50/50 front to rear weight distribution. This is a tastefully done (no stickers, big wings, etc) automobile with supercar like performance.

Only 2 owners; last owner bought it in 1997. Clear title. Some scratches/peeling on front bumper. Shift boot ripped at top. Seat belt light on dash stays on but should be easy to fix.
