IMO, JL makes the best sounding woofers, particularly the W7.

i'm an absolute jl fanboy. i have 2 10w0s in a millhouse box and man does it pound. for the money and value you can't beat the w0s. i picked them up for $200/pair about four years ago.

IMO best sub for under $100 each shipped to your door with warranty..... Elemental Kx series.

12" $85+shipping
10$75+shipping

they are a much better sub than the W0

The current ED subs are far different than the DD subwoofers. The only time they were similar was when they were built at Resonance.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS!

That is where the EDa and Adire Brahma shine. VERY small boxes when you hear the output. Simply amazing. If you can't give the other subs the space, then take them off your list. And none of DD's lines are up to the SQ like the above mentioned subs. Sorry guys.

hmmm, well i haven't kept up with everything the past year but 2 yrs ago at least one of the E.D. lines were clones of DD's, they had different dustcaps and cone material but the magnet, coil and baskets were identical.

They had one run of subs made by the same build house.... it was a very short lived union.
