XM radio antennae
XM radio antennae

so thats where i put mine.. it works surprisingly well there and i didnt have to put it outside and scratch up my paint.. just used double sided tape and ran the wire under the dash peice there (just pull on it.. itll pop up just held in with pressure clips and velcro)
hope this helps some people out.
Re: XM radio antennae
Mine's on the plastic piece between the T-tops, right above the windshield. Wire loops under the plastic piece across the metal area the passenger-side top rests in, then is shoved up into the door-surround molding on the front side of the right door. Wire enters the car at the grommet where other wires enter and is hidden up in the dash on the passenger side where nobody can tangle with it.
No problems with signal loss or anything else.

and on topic, i put my antenna inside my engine bay on top of the passenger shock tower, works perfect.

Lmao, what do you not have a hood or something?
Hey nervekiller, yer car is running hot :P Time for a manual fan switch!!
Re: XM radio antennae
i was kinda worried at first about puttin the ANT on the dash right there and also my alarm LED.. but its cool cause i dont have to brag about having XM anymore a lot of my friends ride with me and after a whiel they are like hey you have XM?! im like yeah.. what type of music you listen to?
its all oohhs and ahhs after that.
haha manual fan switch.. all i need is a reason ot put one of those on
i actually read somewhere though that you make more power if the engine is running a certain temp i think it was around 180* or something.. if its too cool then the oil gets a little thicker.. this was all about oil temp on old engines.. but i just like to pretend if its not way up in the red then i am fine. haha
its hard driving a black car in the desert but it hardly gets hotter than that.
