XM Install

I am going to be installing an XM Commander system into my 95 shortly. For now I will be using the FM Modulator. I know the device needs to be connected to power, ground and accessory if I want it to turn off and on with the car.

I took a look at shoebox's site about a hidden acc feed. http://shbox.com/accy/Accessory.html

I think this should work if I connect to the ground and the orange for retained accessory power. I then need to connect to power.

Where would you recommend connecting to a power source and does anyone see any problems with this configuration?

Thanks

I would take out the multimeter and test the connections on the back of the radio for your 12v switched and 12v constant. once you have that peel back some of the wire sheet and make your connection there.
