Which wire is positive and negative for speakers

I am installing a new set of sony speakers in my front doors on my 1994 Camaro. There are 2 factory wires light green and dark green. Which one is the positive and which is the negative so I can hook up the new speakers.

Light Green is NEGATIVE -- pin 3/c
Dark Green is POSITIVE

....however, a variety of diagrams will tell you the opposite in colors....

-Pin C (or pin 3) is without a doubt negative...just look at the HU harness and see where it lines up on the GM harness if you want to be sure...

Look at the connector on the factory speaker. If the wires are marked "A" & "B", "B" is always the negative.
