Will a new Chrysler Head Unit work in our cars?

I really like the factory CD/Cassette head units that come in the newer Chrysler cars. I was wondering if they would fit alright inplace of my bose AC delco head unit. Would it sound any better or louder?

The chrysler radios , going off our 2001 Ram work truck appear to be a bit wider than the GM radios . If you can fab a way to mount it , match all the wires ...speakers + - 's , power , grounds illmination ect. I dont see why it wouldnt work .

Yes . I was just saying the head unit in in our 01 Dodge Ram "looked" wider from side to side than a GM head unit .
