will four tweeters up front be better than just two

Well I'm taking your guys advice and pulling out all the original stereo stuff, installing new headunit, amp and speakers plus sub. I plan on running only front speakers in combination with the sub. I want to put a set of tweeters in the stock location on the TA doors, plus mount some up top by the little black triangles that will be more to ear level. Is this overkill having four, will the two top overpower the sound coming from the bottom ones? I even thought of just reusing the stock tweeters in the stock location, but I'm guessing this would only make the good speakers sound like crap--any thoughts?

IMO, it will sound worse. The ideal speaker would be a point source where all frequencies came from a single speaker on each side of the car. Since thats not possible with today's speakers you have to use multiple drivers to cover the entire audible bandwidth. Having multiple tweeters up front will smear your soundstage. Frequencies from the tweeters will be coming from a low position on the door and a high position on the door. I'm using a setup like you are wanting to do and I get by just fine with the tweets in the stock door locations. Click on the link below to see how I did my setup.

Actually, done right, it'll sound wicked.
