Thumbs down Will a '98 Monsoon cd player work on a '01 ss

i know that it is a perfect fit, but the problem is that the middle section is not lighting up. i was wondering if it was due to the wiring or some crap like that. if anyone has any insight, please post em here

Should be working just fine. I know it goes the other way becuase I have an 01 player in my 96 Formula. Probally just a light out insde the face of the radio.

It should work due to the fact the wiring kits are sold for 97 and up camaros, in other words all the wiring is the same for 97 and up.
