Who has Sirius or XM in their fbody?
I have it, i mounted the antenna inside the car in the rear hatch and it works pretty good. It does fade in and out when going under some bridges, but i think it was the same when i had it out side the car on a rental.
FYI i use XM through the radio, so i had to attache an antenna to the cars antenna, i did that in side the car too.

My XM antenna has always been mounted on top of the dash, all the way to the front. No problems with reception.
Here's a quite old picture (you can definetely tell by the size of the antenna
) from my 00 Z28 when I was working on getting it situated. I did end up turning it so that the cable goes directly towards the windshield and out of sight.

you can mount it intisde the car aslong as it has line of signt up... (dash, etc)
but i have mine ran to that it is on the middle of the rear hatch... where you think it would be if it came stock... (kinda where it is on the 6, but on the top of the glass)
