Awhile back i took out the stock headunit due to it only working in cd mode when it was warm. This weekend i decided to upgrade the speakers and bypass the monsoon system. I wanted to go with something different then i have had[ have polk db components in the avalanche and have had infinity and kicker in previous vehicles]. I decided to go with the pioneer tsa series 6 1/2 components and coaxils. TSA-1702C and TSA-1672R. I wasnt looking to do a high end sound system so i played around with prices and what i wanted to do. At circuit city you can pick up the components for 159.99 and the coaxils for 79.99 . I am very happy with the choice. The midbass is better then i expected and the tweeters are the perfect sound match for my tastes, not too much and not too little. Next up a small amount of bass.
