Where and how did you mount the antenna? All the ones that come with the kits are magnetic. Do they sell an antenna that sticks to the glass?

2-sided tape turns a magnetic antenna into an adhesive antenna pretty quickly.

I have it, i mounted the antenna inside the car in the rear hatch and it works pretty good. It does fade in and out when going under some bridges, but i think it was the same when i had it out side the car on a rental.

FYI i use XM through the radio, so i had to attache an antenna to the cars antenna, i did that in side the car too.

My XM antenna has always been mounted on top of the dash, all the way to the front. No problems with reception.

Here's a quite old picture (you can definetely tell by the size of the antenna ) from my 00 Z28 when I was working on getting it situated. I did end up turning it so that the cable goes directly towards the windshield and out of sight.

I used double stick and put it on the outside, top rear glass in the center.

you can mount it intisde the car aslong as it has line of signt up... (dash, etc)

but i have mine ran to that it is on the middle of the rear hatch... where you think it would be if it came stock... (kinda where it is on the 6, but on the top of the glass)

mine is mounted in center of the dash. so long as the antenna has clear view of the sky, you shouldn't have many problems.

Just stick it on the side/top of the rear quarter...

Not on the Hatch but the Rear Quarter itself mine stays put @ over 100 MPH without issue

I mounted mine inside the rear spoiler with double sided tape. Remove the third brake light lens and install behind that, then run the wire along with the factory wiring. Very clean install.

Here's a shot of how I mounted mine:

I thought about other less conspicuous locations but I hate dropouts. I think it blends in well with the black t-roof divider moulding.

Here's how it's mounted in the car:
