Why would you not want to tap into the parking lights. I install for a living and I have never seen any problem on our cars with just tapping into the brown wire on the back of the light switch or in the driver kick panel.

They are tapped into the parking lights now. And i'm tired of replacing bulbs because every light flashes on the car. Replacing the bulbs in the interior are especially annoying because they aren't easy to get to.

you must have the wrong wire because only the parking lights should flash. No headlights and no interior lights.

the headlights don't flash, but all the interior lights are connected to the parking lights, thats the only time they come on.
