Where can i find a hole in the firewall?

Where can i find a hole in the firewall?

i need to find a hole for the power wire for my amp and i dont really want to go digging and F*** something up so does anyone have any suggestions for a 1996 camaro where to run the power wire? about where at and if you have pics that would be even better!

unbolt the ecm on the passenger side firewall and use the grommet those wires go through.

its on the passengers side of the engine bay. right in the back cornor on the fender. uses two 10mm bolts and it looks like a small computer brain (thats what it is).
unbolt it and then you have acess to a factory rubber grommet just run the wire through there.

Yep, that's what I did. You have to pry the carpet back up under the passenger side dash towards the outside of the car/firewall. I can't remember, but i'm pretty sure you have to take the kick panel off too.

drilled a hole on drivers side. sounds much easier then the passenger side.

except one problem the battery is on the passengers side. dont want to route power cable clear the the wrong side of the car for no reason

cool thing is i dont even have to drill a hole just poke something through the grommet takes me 10 minutes tops to dissasemble poke the hole then reassemble everything.
