What ohm load do Monsoon speakers run?

Another Monsoon question (f'in rookie!) ...

My friend's '96 Z has a Bose system in it and he couldn't put regular aftermarket speakers in it because the Bose speakers ran at a 4V signal (higher than aftermarket?). Is it the same deal for the new Monsoon systems? Can typical aftermarket speakers be swapped out? And where are the amps for Monsoon - on the HU, on the speaker?

Thanks!

The door woofers are 2 ohms. Firebirds have dual 4ohm voice coil subwoofers while Camaros have single 2ohm voice coil subs. The 4" mids in the hatch and all of the tweeters are 4ohms. The HU powers the tweeters while the Monsoon amp powers the woofers and subs.
