What battery should be used on '96 SS?

What battery should be used on '96 SS?
My current BOSCH Silver 55amp battery starts my car as if some monkey was pushing the engine. What kind of battery should i use? Is this battery badly installed? May there be other problems that cause the car to start so hard?
