Thumbs down Weird volume problem!

Okay so I switch my deck from a Sony Xplod to an Alpine baby!
And i turn up the volume and it deosn't go very loud without getting all distorted although the bass level isn't even that high!!! WTF! and the sound quality is CRAP although the guy who installed it is a PRO at that stuff!! Why is it that it sounds like crap now and can't go loud without gettin all staticky!! Oh yeah, and sometimes some speakers go quiet for a bit then randomly come back on! WTF happened?

I say take it back and let them take a look at it. Also, are you running stock speakers?

what kind of Focals? I think one reason they are distorting is b/c you are using the HU and you can't really expect clean power especially at high volumes. I think your best bet would be to amp your mids and highs and I'm sure you'll see the difference.
