walmart's cheap dash kit....

walmart's cheap dash kit....

trying to install this damn dash kit in my 97 z/28....

did all the instructions have said and it wont line up, its sitting about a half inch to low....

I put my factroy cd player in for now...

Can anyone else help me here or have had the same problems with this dash kit ???

Who made the kit? IMO the Metra 99-3009 is the best dash kit for our cars.

its the scoche kit, i think i spelled it wrong though ....

I picked up a road gear universal kit from Sears... Lets me run my head unit and 1/ 2 din EQ in the dash.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not but have you checked to see if you have it upside down?

yes it does and good point...the mount'n tab's are made to go a certain way....scoche/efx is a good install product

Yes I made sure, The "TOP" is on top as it should be....

I'm just gonna return it all mangled up....
