Mine did this but when it said LoC I took it to our local GM dealer. It must be in the car for them to get the codes off of it and then they call in the codes. A few minutes later they will tell you the code for your radio. But since yours says Inop I dont know if this would work.

HEY HEY HEY

I can help on this one!

There is a way that you can do it without taking to dealer. When I get to work on Monday I will post on how to do it.

Working in retail has its benefits

Congrats
Mine is 822 so it would have taken me a LONG time to get it. Anyways could you post the way to do it without taking it to a GM dealer? I'm just curious.

Thanks
Chad

Theftloc Bypass

1. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first 3 digits of the display code are displayed
2. Write the numbers down.
3. Press the AM FM button, write down the next 3 numbers
4. Call 1-800-537-5140, when asked, enter 202107, press the “button” and enter the 6 digit code from the radio, you will get an unlock code, write it down.
5. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first 2 numbers, then press minute button and set the next two last numbers, press AM FM button, SEC should be displayed, turn on radio
To remove customers code, repeat step 5. you should see --- on radio face, the code is now out of the radio.

Update....
Try this. I found it on another forum.

The dealer quote listed on the thread does not work, but i was able to find one on the internet. The 5-digit code which did it for me was 06010. Before this a 2 must be entered for Pontiac, and an asterisk after, so when prompted after calling 1-800-537-5140, pontiac guys enter:

206010. The website where i got the dealer code is here:

http://www.google.ca/search?q=cache...en&ie=UTF-8

The site has been taken down, this is a cached version on google's server. I have saved a copy of it on my harddrive incase it ever disappears. I will post this same message on the other thread too.

maybe they change codes every now and then
