tail light issue
Forgive me if I missed something in the search, but im have an issue with my tail lights lighting up differently. The running lights on the driver side light up where the red arrow is pointing and the blue on the passenger side. Plugs arnt the same so I cant just switch them, has anyone had/fixed this issue?

Re: tail light issue
Not sure what year you have, but I looked at the 98 factory manual. It shows your blue position as the "taillamp" and your red position as the "taillamp/stoplamp". Both positions should show the taillamp.
Where does you brake light appear on each side? Should be in your red position. If that is where they are on your car, it's possible you have the single-filament taillamp bulb in the blue position burned out on the driver side, and the taillamp filament of the 2-filament tail/brake bulb burned out on the other side.

Re: tail light issue
I guess I'm just a hard-a$$, but I don't think we should have to go searching all over the place to see what year the car is. That info needs to be in a "signature", or at least in the post.
And, this really should have been in "General 67-02 F-Body....", since this forum is really for audio and similar electronics.

Re: tail light issue
Sorry about posting in the wrong section. I went to change the bulbs and my passenger side of the tail light harness was electrical taped in from a different car. I ordered a tail light harness and new bulbs and that fixed it. Went to replace my front bumper lights and found the same thing.
