System setup?

In the not to distant future I am going to up grade my sound system. I have a '94 Trans Am and I was thinking about removing the back seats and placing the two amps that I have in the rear, but I want to make sure that they are obsured from view, any suggestions?

Re: System setup?

This was my solution. When the cargo lid is in place you can't see a thing. Click my sig for more details.

Re: System setup?

I will back up white rascal. He is using an amp rack that can be purchased from subthump.com. I belive he made his own, and I did as well, but if you arent super handy, that is what you should do. Subthump also makes speaker boxes that sit in the sides of your T-top well, and like LS1 RULZ said, when its all closed you cant see a single piece of audio.. makes a great theft deterent. if they cant see it, they dont know its there to steal..
I will try to post pics of my setup later.

Nice setup White Rascal, I think thats what I'm going to do as well. Do modifications need to be made the driver side plastic piece to fit the sub box?

Yes, you will have to cut the panel. I used masking tape to layout the lines I needed to cut. I used a straight edge to score the line and then ran the blade of a box cutter knife down the scored line several times till I cut thru the plastic. Make sure you have a couple of sharp blades for the knife if you decide to try this.

Re: System setup?

Sorry for offtopic, just tried this exact sub for my daily driver - WOW! It really outperforms JL I had before. And it's cheap Thanks for pointing this out LS1 RULZ!

Not the driver's side. Only the passenger side needs cut. Or if you have the bose stock sub on the diver's side. Then you my need to trim.
