Subthump Milhouse box (questions)

I am looking into buying the milhouse box, but dont know how it looks and works with the wires to the amp. How exactly does it install? I would like to know any lows and highs, good or bad experiences with it. Is it possible to mount the amp in the driver side hole where stealth boxes usually go?

I would especially like to know anything bad about the milhouse box.

Thanks in advance.

A few more things I thought might be possible problems, Does it bounce up when going over speed bumps? How do the plastic hinges wear?

You have nothing to worry about. All those issues were tackled and solved years ago when the box was being developed.

Re: Subthump Milhouse box (questions)

I ordered one a couple days ago. the buying process was easy, about the wires, i saw on a picture that they go out through a hole in the bottom of the box, a small hole, but enough for wires. and i think thats how the connect, i could be wrong, but i will let you know for sure when I get my box. also about the amp mounting, for 65 bucks you can get the amp rack and if you order it with the millhousebox it has free shipping, thats what i did. i also have been told by many people that the box is very secure and doesn not move around.

I have the dual 10's Millhouse Box and I love it!! It is a great box and a perfect design for people who still want to use the well for a toolbox or T-Tops. Think of it like the stock flap with a box attached to the underside. It won't interfere with the cubby hole on the driver's side and the wires hook up on the bottom against the carpet. The sound is great, esp down. I'm running RF HE10's and it sounds good. When you flip it up it's not as loud as down, but it still hits. Buy with confidence!

Re: Subthump Milhouse box (questions)

I've got a 2 12" well box as well. I don't have T-tops, so i'm not missing that, and as of yet i haven't needed that space, i just fold down the back seats if i need something. Those milhouse boxes are pretty slick, but you tend to be more limited to what subs you can use. Not that that's a bad thing; the Alpine Type-S s work correct?

Thanks for the heads up. I need to update that. Also, I have lots of camaro rear inserts cut out and some new hood inserts I designed, so be sure to check those out. I put a set on my car today and they are killer
