Subs + Convertible = ?
Subs + Convertible = ?
Well, I've got two 10" MB Quart subs laying around... can't seem to find a buyer for them (anyone interested in em? PM ME!
) so I'm thinkin bout puttin em in my car. Thing is, I've heard that in a convertible you can hardly feel subs in the trunk due to the gap and all the 'vert stuff.
Is that true? Would it be worth my effort and buying an amp and a new box for them to put them in the trunk of my 'vert?

With the top up, you will definately feel and hear them. But bass in a vert is drastically reduced when the top is down. Just one of those things.
I've done several vert enclosures this week. They look a little like this http://www.subthump.com/images/subth...vertdual10.jpg ...if you happen to need a good box that fits.
