sub box question

Does the shape of a sub box matter as long as it is the proper size. What I mean, is would there be a difference between a perfectly square box and a triangle or cone, or even circle shaped box as long as they all held the same amount of air?

The interrnal volume of the enclosure and the rigidity of the walls are whats important. If anyone tells you square boxes are bad beacuse of standing waves don't believe them. Bass frequencies are too large to cause standing wave problems inside an enclosure that small.
