Well the very first day i bought my z the cd player never worked. the radio worked but the cd player just seemed to jam up and not play. so today i installed my alpine i had in my last car in my z and same problem the radio works and sounds much better now but the cd shows that its playing but nothing comes out of the speakers any ideas?

I have around the same problem. My 94's radio/cd player won't work. The radio will play sometimes (for a few minutes), then flicker (including the time displayed) then go out. Mine is a Bose, any ideas of the problem and how I could fix it? I removed the Radio (PITA!), but the wires look to be in good condition, anyone know the problem or do I have to buy another radio?
