Has anyone opened the rearmost speaker covers and discovered that there is only one speaker underneath on either side and that there is an empty slot for another speaker??!!!

or is it just my car?

There is not even an open wire end to suggest that there were speakers connected before. Thanks / Bharat.

 

There is only supposed to be one speaker on each side of the hatch.

 

the base soundsystem is only supposed to have one per side.

Mine came with the 10 speaker setup and has a tweeter and a mid range speaker on either side of the hatch.

 

Camaros had at most 8 speakers; only TAs had the extra two speakers in the hatch. Original poster's sig says he has a '98 Z28.

 

HA!...the first of the 93-94s only came with three speakers......it sucked

one in each door and one in the back hatch...nothing in the back seats..sucko

 

I have a 94 with a 3 speaker set-up. Threw some Boston Acoustics in the fronts, two 10" JL's in the hatch... good to go. Two back speakers wouldn't make a crap of a difference at this point.
