Speakers for Bose Systems

I want to replace my speakers in my 94 Camaro with Bose system. What size do I get and what is the difference between 2 way and 4 way? How many watts do I look for?

Re: Speakers for Bose Systems

You're better off going with aftermarket speakers like sony or kenwood. You should also rewire them all for the best quality sound.

It's not that simple because the bose speakers are funny impedance values and use funny bose amplification.

Live with what you've got or start piecing together a full system solution. It's not advisable to just do speakers with that system.

Bose are 1 ohm in the Gold, 4.0, and above systems.

What's your price tag looking like? Sony and Kenwood are NOT the way to go.

If you have a decent budget, look at a component set for the front and 2 ways for the rear.

Anything more than 2-way speakers is pointless and a marketing gimmick.
