Speaker suggestions for my application???

What kind of speakers would you guys suggest for my application?

My car does NOT have the Monsoon system. I like how the stock speakers give decent bass and all around sound. I want speakers to replace those, but ones that give good bass, good high, and good mid. I'm guessing any 2-way 6.75 speaker would work, but what would you suggest?

Did you want to have an amp? or did you want to just use the HU to run the speakers?

The alpine R's are ok as far as fitment goes... They'll fit the stock baffles nicely. HOWEVER, they weigh a ton. Roughly 5 LB per speaker - this applies to the component set. The type R coaxials are around 3lb I believe, which is fine...

Or, go with type X components They weigh about as much as the R coaxials, but produce better sound than the R components..

Unless you are going to amp them, I wouldn't bother.
