now don't get me wrong here, I don't want to get ANYTHING low quality but I must say I did hear some good things about Cadence.

Since my last post I realized I should be buying a 2-channel amp (keep in mind, I know very little about amps) so I'm thinking of going with the Cadence Q3000...

Now I haven't heard many car audio setups, but I have researched VERY heavily to try to find the best equipment.

I was recommended this amp by a few people on a very popular car audio forum (where I do most of my research) but I do like to keep in mind that they could be wrong. The people I am taking advice from aren't just dumb kids that know nothing about car audio (which I am consious of) but they might not be correct on this one. I have yet to hear something bad about Cadence amps though.

I haven't actually seen this amp perform but I am fairly confident that it will be good quality.

Here is my setup so far...

Eclipse CD5442 Head Unit (actually have this, it is very nice)

Adire Audio Brahma 12" subwoofer (am going to purchase within the next week, am almost 100% positive this is GREAT quailty)

Adire Audio Koda 6.1 components (purchase within the next week as well, am also fairly sure of their quality)

BEtter Audio 1600M1 amp for Brahma (a new company, but they have been the talk of the board for the past month, everyone who has one recommends it for the Brahma- I am planning on purchasing this within the next week as well)

Cadence Q3000 amp for Kodas (least sure of all my products that this is quality but I'm not going to rush into this purchase)

well that's my complete setup, tell me what you think of any of those. for anyone just getting into car audio a STRONGLY recommend looking into any of these products (except Cadence, I'm not sold on that YET) all my other products, however, I have heard nothing but good things about.

Rallyred, I am interested in hearing your suggestions for an amp for my Kodas, tell me what ya think.

Honestly I wasn't bashing Cadence, I just have no experience with them and don't know anyone who has. They may be offering a superior product at a great value, but I don't know that. So I am hesitant to say "go for it!" You do what you are comfortable with after doing your homework. As far as what do I think you should go with, I've had great experiences with MTX, Kicker, RF, Alpine, JL Audio, JBL, Orion, Precision Power, etc. either in my own system or a friends system. I also have a high deal of respect for some of the other brands which are generally a little out of most's price range like A/D/S, Brax and others. Which of those you choose is up to your personal preference. I am just saying I've had no experience with them and can offer you no advice on as to whether you should get them or not. I'm not saying don't, I'm just saying I dunno. From looking at your list of equipment you have obviously been doing your homework.

What do you mean by a seperate amp? I'm a bi-amping them? If so, then no. If you mean a seperate amp other then the head unit, then yes. 100WRMS per side. Should sound nice. And Cadence makes great amps. Although, I don't know anything about that particular site. If you are going to spend the money to buy such a nice set as the Koda's, please don't insult them by powering them with a pyramid or pyle. Cadence is decent though.
