I have a 97 camaro with a the 6 speaker setup. The rear seat speakers only put out bass, and the hatch area speakers put nothing out. Is there a capacitor setup on the rear that I am not seeing. This would explain the lack of full range sound at the rear seats. Also I used an aftermarket adapter (scosche) to tie the sony into the factory harness. This is the same adapter called for in my blazer, and it worked fine. Is it possible this car had an amp installed somewhere that I do not see? Finley1006@aol.com
