Re: speaker/ audio system question!!!

this belongs in the car audio & electronics topic but you need a box for those 12's i wouldnt waste money on "chrome 12"s" unless they are of decent quality and not crap ebay items or the such make sure the RMS wattage is decent (Not max) and you'll be ok you just need a box to fit the 12's that fits in the trunk along with a decent amp, and amp wiring kit

You'll either want the custom box that fits in the hole where your T-tops go, or I have used a pair of hatchback boxes for 10" speakers and wedged them in the same hole before. I doubt 12" hatchback boxes will fit in there though.

Re: speaker/ audio system question!!!

yea, you're talking a subthump.com box, and I wouldn't waste your $$ on a generic sub/amp either, it's not worth it.

Spend the $$ and do it right.

Line-Level output converter (If you're using the stock Headunit; brand doesn't matter too much for this)
2 channel or Mono amplifier (See Subs section)
Subs (Something name brand like RF, Kicker, Adire, Kenwood, Alpine, etc)
Box (www.subthump.com)
Install Kit (www.knukonceptz.com has the best prices)
