I've got the Audiovox SIRCK1 cradle with the magnetic antenna, but the only metal facing up is my hood... and it ain't going there.

What are you guys using for an antenna and where did you mount it? I've seen a glass mount antenna made by Terk, but it seems it's only available for XM. Can a XM antenna be made to work with a Sirius system? Ideas, suggestions?

 

the xm ant connector is different from the sirius connector so it wouldnt be interchangable. I seen one guy use double sided tape on his firberglass trunk lid on his mustang. you could try that on the roof and feed the wiring through the top of the hatch.

 

Weve stuck them on the inside on the dash. It was on the passengers side all the way against the glass.. Not noticible and it worked great.

stick it in the hatch. works fine for me.

 

Terk makes Sirius antennas. Check their site and see if one is suitable for your use.

 

i seen the kenwood sirius boxes on ebay cheap but dont come with a cable to the deck or the ant.
how hard are those to find and are they cheap???
how much is it for canadian users or is it even avail up here??
