Got the car out of the garage after a few months and now the radio get static on most stations...this is new, used to come in perfect. The antenna isn't bent/broken or falling off and still goes up and down fine...ideas?

 

Is the antenna lead in the trunk still attached ?

Any rodents in the garage that could have nibbled on something they were not supposed to ?


Do any work in the dash area that would have caused the antenna lead on the back of the radio to come loose ?

Have a cell phone in the car ? I know my SS radio gets some weird interference sometimes due to the cell phone - not a clue in the world why.

No mice or anything, no cell phone and no work other then to the engine...its got me baffled... it's nice out and I got nothing to do so I'll go poke around and see what I come up with...normally I wouldn't care buy my iPod uses an FM transmitter so I'd like to use it instead of having to make cds.
