I have a BEL980. it was originally hard wired to the radio accessory in a 2001 camaro coupe. now it is wired the exact same way in my 2002 camaro z28. here's the problem. about every other time i start the car, it flashes "?LO3 CAL" and beeps like crazy. I unplug it, and plug it back in, and it does the same thing until the next time I start the car. Then it might work okay for a day then start acting up again. I can't seem to find a pattern of when this happens, such as at night with headlights on, or with radio off, etc. It seems to be completely random. Does anyone know what my problem is?

yeah...I'm not thinking it has anything to do with your car...sounds like the detector is screwing up.
