I did a search but it turned up nothing.

I have my radar detector wired into my radio, so the power is all set. It used to run from the fuse box and sit on top of the dash, but now I want it out of my way completely!

I've seen cars where they have the power wire coming up through the front defroster vent, and I want to do that. I know I have to take off the panel underneath the steering wheel, and pop the radio out as well, but I don't know how to get the wire into the defroster vent. Where is there an open space in the HVAC system to let me slide the wire up into the defroster?
